HP Pro 3400 Series MT
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

hi, so I've been thinking about this for some time now and I would like to upgrade my  Hp Pro 3400 series MT.

I would like to hear your take on what CPU, RAM, SSD maybe GPU would you recommend. Or if I should just save up some money and buy a new one. I'm on a 150-200 eur budget.

Thank's for your advice!

Here is the spec page for that model and the selected upgrades can be decided by what is listed but better than the way you model was setup initially

The CPU choices are listed, so choose one that is a higher model number than the one present in the configuration you have.

Supported RAM arrangements are listed, since it only has 2 RAM slots, pick from the combinations listed to achieve the amount of RAM that you wish to have.

As far as SSD, it does not list and other choices but SATA, but there are SSD replacements for a standard SATA drive, up to 2GB.  2.5" SSD drives will work to replace a 3.5" with an mounting adapter.

Page 37 of this manual lists the graphics cards that were supported

If you go outside of those listed, do so at the advise of someone that has actually done an upgrade because it might require a power supply upgrade, too.

Here is a short thread about that topic
