Was this Patriot module specified for your unit, or just off the shelf purchase.
Modules should be matching. Here are the part numbers of what could be the original 4 GB.
497158-B88 Memory - DIMM, 4GB, PC3-10600, 9-9-9, bPC
497158-D88 Memory - DIMM, 4GB, PC3-10600, 9-9-9, DPC
655410-150 Memory - DIMM, 4GB, PC3-12800, CL11, dPC
According to the basic spec page, it should be
4 GB PC3-10600 MB/secType: DDR3-1333

Can you inspect the installed and operational 4 GB module using CPU-Z ? Use the 'Speed" tab. It will list all the parameters.
