Product: HP Compaq Pro 6305 Microtower PC
Operating System: Ubuntu LTS

Hello, so i bought recently this pc(the HP compaq Pro 6305 MT and i want to upgrade the cpu, but without the need to also get a new power supply and if possible without the need to update the bios. What do you recommend me to do?

The best available processor for your HP Compaq Pro 6305 Microtower PC is the AMD A10-5800B (3.80 GHz up to 4.20 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads).  If your MT is already fitted with this processor, you're set.

 

According to the specs, you got a 320-watt power supply, which can power such graphics cards as a GTX 1650, RX 6400, or a GTX 1050 Ti if you so choose.
