HP Prodesk 400 g2 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I currently have a 180W PSU in my  HP Prodesk 400 g2 MT and am looking to upgrade to a 300W PSU, but I need to first make sure that the PSU is compatible for this model.

The product number of the PC is K8K67EA, so I checked hp's partsurfer site and under power supplies for this model, it shows what I assume are compatible PSU's:

While you can purchase other components, there's no option to purchase the PSU's on that page.

But I notice that it says the PSU's have "ATX form factor", does that mean I can go on Amazon and order any 300W ATX PSU and it will fit in my PC? Or are there other things I need to consider?

Thanks

Because N/A. ATX power supply inits are match with ATX standard cases (for nuts and bolts  parts). You can use part # to buy elsewhere, plenty of them around.

Thanks, so just to confirm I can buy pretty much any ATX PSU, even a 500W one, and it will fit. But will the connector be ok as well? Like would my PC have a proprietary connector or something from the PSU to the motherboard or will that be ok?
