HP 110-419
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I personally have an Hp 110-419 and I recently bought a new Usb key. It was an Usb 3.0 so I wanted to know if it was possible to access the high speed transfer of 3.0 by replacing one of the olds 2.0 usb port by a new 3.0 one and if it was how to do it.

Thank you for your answer and time,

Adrien Levert

Welcome to HP Support Forum. The following link shows specs of your computer:

Sorry to say NO, you can't replace USB 2.0 ports. Motherboard doed not have PCIe expansion slots otherwise you can use PCIe to USB 3.0 card to ADD (not replace) few more USB 3.0 ports

Regards.
