HP Pavilion 590

I am the owner of an HP Pavilion 590 with an HP motherboard: Lincs SSID: 843B. There is a working LightBar 4-pin connector on this motherboard, which I have tested with a tester and found that it receives a voltage of +5V. I want to connect additional lighting to this connector, as it is implemented in the Pavilion TG-01. Upon studying the connection scheme for the lighting in this model, I learned that it is connected through a 4-pin connector with 3 wires. Given the voltage of +5V being supplied, it is obvious that this is ARGB lighting. However, when I connect this type of lighting to my PC, I do not get the desired result. As I understand it, there is no control signal, which is why the lighting does not turn on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but tell me how to use the existing connector to set up lighting.

Hi @Demid

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are trying to modify the config.

We do not recommend that as the hardware of your pc might get damaged.

Thank you.

Have a great day !

Thank you for your advice, but I would like to hear an answer directly from the support service, as I'm afraid you may not have enough knowledge in this matter. It is not possible to damage the hardware in this case, as I am not soldering new components onto the board, but simply trying to use the standard connector.

I don't understand, are there any support representatives here at all? Or do they only answer questions like "Can you tell me which button to press to turn on my computer?"
