I have an hp elite 8300 sff and the internal video memory is only 32MB (Intel HD 2500). There is no setting in the BIOS to adjust this and it also does not work with register settings.
Now I want to play games and I can get a low profile video card but the psu does not pull this. It is 240W. Which psu would you recommend to me, or is there still an setting with which I can increase the memory?
I also have a sound card and 2 external drives connected so i think the 240w psu is not enough.
Thanks,

Your computer: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03345460
has "integrated graphics". So, for "gaming", you will need to add-in a high-performance graphics adapter.

The sound-card is "low-wattage" -- not drawing enough wattage to make a difference.
Either the 2 external disk-drives are in the "portable" 2.5-inch format (drawing power from your USB ports) or they are in the "desktop" 3.5-inch format (with their own power-supply adapter). Which is it?

I am guessing probably much less than 10 watts (5 volts multiplied by 2 amperes) each, leaving 220 watts.
Probably 50 to 80 watts for the processor on the motherboard.

Hi,
There really isn't a high performance gaming graphics card that will work with the power supply in your SFF.

More info about external usb drives and Sound Card:
Western Digital My Passport - 1TB
Western Digital Elements Portable - 750 GB
Terratec Aureon 7.1 PCIe sound card
Which card would be possible without having to replace the psu? How about the HD-545X-ZCH2 :: XFX RADEON HD 5450 - 1 GB
