RE: Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0325m

I found it is very difficult to find out

1) the current 11/2024 TG02-0325m Motherboard model number layout map ? (don't tell me it is Erica8, not specific enough !!) all photo online don't match?

2) the current 11/2024 TG02-0325m Motherboard pcie version #? they have 2

3) why they never list how many SATA ports on the website , the Motherboard  clearly have SATA port ? How many SATA they can support total for 500W psu? what about 350w PSU

4) why all pervious link to Motherboard always end with deadlink ???

@jcndhman,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Yes, your Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop TG02-0xxx is fitted with an Erica8 motherboard (SSID: 89D8), here you go:

This fine motherboard has three (3) SATA data ports (SATA0, SATA1, SATA3), of which the SATA1 port appears to be a dedicated ODD (optical drive) port -unless I am misreading this. So, you got at least two data SATA ports for aplenty HDD/SSD storage opportunities.

I don't think your power supply has necessarily anything to do with how many SATA devices you can mount (presumably via a PCIe card), the main wattage guzzlers are going to be your processor and your graphics card.

And yea, sadly, HP's specs links are generally a mess.  We have been trying to get HP to fix things.

Kind Regards,
