I asked you to wait and report back the game. WOW requirements.
But, the GTX 1660 or 1660Ti exceeds the requirements.

With that PSU you could easily go to a GTX 1660 (or 1660 Super) and have no problems. However keep in mind that the cards in that range require a 6 or 8 pin power connector. You might be able to get away with a Molex to 8/6 pin connector such as this one.

You will not need any adapter. The stock PSU has separate 6 pin and 8 pin PCIe power plugs.
Modern gaming is predicated on the CPU, and GPU performance levels, then the PSU requirements.
If you mentioned the most intensive game, I could recommend the proper specifications.

The RTX 3080 has not been released as of this date and may or may not be out later this year. The RTX 2080 PSU requirements are for a 650W PSU or better. The Game Debate site here can give you the specs and can you run it details on almost any GPU. Once you start looking at graphic intensive games you can pretty much be assured that a high end GPU will require a powerful PSU to drive it.
