If there is more to the model number - that would be helpful. There seems to be some variations. Here is what I used as a basis for the answer. HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1120 Bundle PC (328S5AA)
If that is the same as yours, then the spec page indicates it has a 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD, however, according to this page 8, there is also case accommodations for a SATA drive as well.

It depends on the intended goal. If the present SSD is too small then a larger, say 500GB or 1TB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD would work. If the goal is to have extra storage, then a regular 1TB SATA drive could be added for a data drive. Both of those are reasonable choices. If you wish to increase the size of the main SSD, it will require either cloning the present SSD to the new drive or reinstalling the Windows and software of your choice, however.
Adding an additional 1TB SATA drive would not require anything more than mounting the drive in an available drive bay and connecting the SATA ports and the power supply appropriately.
