Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Support for W7, Service Pack 1, Enterprise or Pro embedded can be found here (Link).

january 2010, as i recall unless you pay MS the support fee which as i recall was 100 dollars  per system the first year and 200 the next this extended support is only for enterprise business and is not available for home non enterprise users

contact Microsoft for exact details as they make/support the OS, rather than asking on this forum as Ms will have exact details on which systems are eligible for this extended support

If you do not know the answer, please stop just saying tings just to say them. I have looked at MS site, and it is not very clear.

this is for ’Genuine Windows Embedded Standard 7‘ as shipped with the Thinclient. MS uses different terms then HP.

How does support stop before my company even piurchased them?

So for my Model Thinclient, it doesn’t mention anything about SP1. It just has WES7P. That’s where I am confused.

I was QUITE CLEAR, i said TO SPEAK with a MS rep  the website link  was provided for general information for you and other readers of this thread, again speaking with a Ms rep should answer your questions about your thinclients using w7

You started off with a wrong date. Then a break down of extended support. Then a great advice on contacting MS. Then a random link.

yea. QUITE CLEAR.

if you don’t know. Doesn’t mean you to chime in.

Genuine Windows Embedded Standard 7 is covered under this date? That’s the OS HP shipped with it
