Hi @MADHU56

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your HP SK 2061 wireless keyboard isn’t connecting, let’s try these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check the Basics

Power On the Keyboard:

  • Make sure the keyboard has fresh batteries installed and is powered on.
  • If it has a connection light, check if it lights up when you turn it on.

Proximity:

  • Ensure the keyboard is within range of your device.

2. Reconnect the Keyboard

If Using a USB Receiver:

  • Reseat the Receiver:
    • Remove the USB dongle (receiver) from your computer, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. Use a different USB port if available.
  • Reconnect the Keyboard:
    • Turn the keyboard off, then back on. Press any key to see if it reconnects.

If Using Bluetooth:

  • Unpair and Re-Pair:
    • Go to your computer’s Bluetooth settings, remove the keyboard from the list of paired devices, and try pairing it again.
    • Put the keyboard in pairing mode (look for a button on the back or underside). It might show as a discoverable device in your Bluetooth settings.

3. Restart Devices

  • Reboot Your Computer:
    • A simple restart can clear temporary glitches.
  • Reset the Keyboard:
    • Check if your keyboard has a reset button or method mentioned in the manual and reset it.

4. Update Drivers

  • Open Device Manager:
    • Look under Keyboards or Bluetooth Devices (if applicable).
    • Right-click your keyboard (or dongle) and select Update Driver.
    • Let Windows search online for updated drivers.

5. Test on Another Device

  • Try connecting the keyboard to another computer or device. This helps confirm if the issue is with the keyboard or the original computer.

6. Replace Batteries or Check for Damage

  • Weak batteries can cause connection issues even if the keyboard powers on.
  • Inspect the keyboard for any physical damage, especially around the connection buttons or battery compartment.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
