HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i (3Y3Q8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

My HP Envy came with 16 GB of DDR4 3200MHz unbuffered RAM; 2x8GB. The board has 4 DIMM slots.

I want to add at least 16 GB, but am not sure exactly what RAM to buy. I've checked HP Store and they don't recognize the Part #. The RAM is made by Kingston for HP, so P/N is HP32D4U2S8MR-8. I've checked Amazon , Newegg, etc. and get all kinds of descriptions. SDRAM, ECC, non-ECC, UDIMM, SODimm, CL22, CL16, etc., so I'm unsure what to buy.

Info on current RAM stick reads: 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-3200AA-UA3-12.

Can anyone help?

You say it has 4 slots but from the following information we can only use 2 slots

You can use RAM from the above link

Thank you for your reply.

Crucial is absolutely wrong. The HP TE02-0042 I purchased has 4 DIMM slots. It came with 2 slots filled with 8GB sticks. 2 slots remain empty.

This is from the Product Specs Manual I have for my system:

16 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM memory

(2 x 8 GB) (expandable to 128 GB

unbuffered with 32 GB DIMMs)

Memory slots: 4 DIMM (288-pin) (two available) as 2 have ram installed.
