I have a HP 280 g3 SSF Business, and I search everywhere to get the motherboard name and description from the system info where the motherboard is (843F), but when I open the specs of the motherboard, it just shows PCI-E x16 and PCI-E x1, but I want to know about the generation of PCI-E.

Can anyone help me with that?

thank you

It would seem the motherboard uses the Intel® H370 chipset.  Specs indicate this -   Enable blazingly fast data transfers to your favorite devices with PCI Express* 3.0.

Also Intel® H370 chipset supporting Intel® 8th and 9th generation processors

Also indicates the CPU choices include Intel Core i7-8700 (Coffee Lake-S) - eighth generation Intel CPU.

The conclusion would then be the  PCI-E x16  generation would be the 3.0.
