I have a OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0014.
Can I unplug LED light inside the case? Omen command center will not open even though it is running in background. I want the light off and this seems to be simplest solution.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
You can download the latest version of OCC at this (Link). Install this software.
You may have to uninstall the current version of OCC. Then install the new version.
I am not familiar with this motherboard (MB). I did not see any setting within OCC to disable the internal LED.
Disconnecting the internal LED depends on how HP has configured this. It could be baked into the MB. You may have a BIOS setting for this.
The internal LED could be connected to a RGB header on the MB.
Regards

I watched a video for replacing the LED light bar in the case and it showed that the wiring connects to t small circuit board mounted to the lower right of the motherboard. When I originally started up the PC I installed Belarc Advisor and documented the programs and configuration of the unit, as received. I believe the reason my Omen Command Center will not come up is the original configuration included an HP program Omen Command Center version 7.5.1.0 and OmenCap version 0.9.441.0 .
The Omen Command Center version 7.5.1.0 program is missing and the installs from HP and Microsoft will not restore it on my machine. I have installed with the firewall and virus software disabled and the program does not show up. I think I will just unplug the LED light bar and go on with life. I do not need the features of changing the lights colors in the case and no light is fine.
Thank you for your response.
