Hi
I have HP Desktop Series 110 -321sx Tower System
which has Intel Core i3 3420T 2 Core Processor
this processor uses LGA1155 Socket and up to 35W
The Motherboard is IMP61-T8
I want to know if I can upgrade my CPU to core i5 2500K as it also supports LGA1155 Socket
but I'm still a little confused about Power and Motherboard compatibility.

According to the parts list your PC has the Tenby-U motherboard.
Here is the link to the motherboard specs which has the list of supported processors.
HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications, IPM61-TB (Tenby-U) | HP® Support
The motherboard only supports the 35W Intel 'T' processors, so the i5-2500K will not work in that motherboard.
