Hp pavilion p7-1154

So I have a HP pavilion p7-1154 AMD quad core A6-3600, 6GB DDR3 system memory, AMD Radeon HD 6530D integrated graphics, 1 terabyte hard drive. I'm obviously out of date. I would really like to know how far can I upgrade this setup if any possible. I would like to use the PC for gaming. Is it possible or do I have to start from scratch with starting a complete new build with a new tower?

@Tinoalvarado , welcome to the forum.

Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer.  You should read the sections titled "Processor upgrade information" and "Memory upgrade information" for a list of compatible processors and memory.  You can add a discrete video card, but it will have to be an older model.  The newer models require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't begin using UEFI until mid-October, 2012 with Win 8.  The BIOS can't be upgraded to UEFI.  The last cards not to require UEFI were the GTX 660/670 series.  You can choose a manufacturer of video cards and contact their Tech Support for help with choosing the best card for your system.  You may have to upgrade the power supply unit (PSU) if the video card requires more than 300W of power to operate properly.  The existing PSU is only 300W.

Another upgrade that will boost system performance considerably is adding a SSD,  This will reduce boot times and run games much smoother.  Here is the memory and SSD's that are recommended for your computer by Crucial Memory.  You should contact Crucial's Tech Support to assure that your existing memory will be compatible with their memory or you will have to remove it and add all new memory.  You can determing the brand and timings of the existing memory by using CPU-Z.  This information will be in the "SPD" tab of the app.
