ENVY TE01-4254

I'd like to upgrade my GPU, but I'll need at least 400 W to do so. The ENVY TE01-4254 comes with the base 310 PSU so I'm looking to upgrade, but there's no details on the dimensions for the part. I'm still new to building/upgrading so I'd like have confirmation from vets instead of just going off a vibe and measuring tape. Please help! Last thing I saw about this kind of thing was from a 3 y/o discussion.

Hi @Jspice-Mcgee

I'm guessing you are referring to the HP 500 watt power supply.

The HP 500 watt power supply works with the HP case and HP MB used in the TE01, TG01, and TP01 PCs.

Hi @Jspice-Mcgee

Welcome to the HP Forum.

You can do a HP 400 watt PSU, part number L04618-800, available at eBay.

Or the HP 500 watt part, L05757-800, also at eBay.

That's an option, but I saw the size difference and I'm worried that I won't be able to make it fit into the chassis alongside a new GPU. Do you know if the new, larger PSU will fit without issue?

Yup, I was referring to whether or not the 500 watt PSU would fit inside my Envy TE01-4254 case without having to modify it. I'll go ahead and purchase it. Worse case scenario is that I just return the part. Thanks for answering my questions!

Hi @Jspice-Mcgee

My pleasure.

I don't think you will have a problem.
