If I open my new, under warranty computer to add a second drive, will I void the warranty?

HP PCs - Damage Not Covered by the HP Standard Limited Warranty | HP® Customer Support

on condition of not damaging the computer, during or after handling, no!
In the event of a return under warranty, the computer must be in its factory configuration.
