@Alpha_Centauri_, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding missing webcam!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your webcam isn’t detected. You can manually find and download the latest webcam driver from the HP Support website by following these steps:
- Go to the HP Support website: HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
- Enter your laptop model: HP Pavilion x360 - 15-dq1045nia or serial number
- Select your operating system (Windows 10/11)
- Look for the Camera or Imaging Devices section and download the available driver.
If the webcam is still missing from Device Manager:c
- Show hidden devices: Open Device Manager → Click "View" → Select "Show hidden devices."
- Run Windows Update: Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any pending updates.
- Use HP Support Assistant: Open HP Support Assistant and run the diagnostic tool to check for missing drivers.
Let me know if you need further assistance!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
