Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

 

I am trying to find out which CPUs my 25L motherboard can support.

 

At the moment it has a Ryzen 5 5600G CPU installed so I presume the MOBO can support series 5 Ryzen apart from Threadripper as the power delivery of the board will not be good enough.

 

HP Support Assistant calls the motherboard: 8876 11 running on bios F.11. I presume this is an AM4 socket.

 

What CPUs can this board support please?

you could upgrade to 12 cores from 6, start mining for gridcoins and fry your MOBO

The movie HANNA was really good, I wonder if the MOBO was named after her.

Information on the Hanna MOBO only tells me the upgrade path of the CPU. The question is: can I downgrade from Ryzen 5 5600G CPU??

Can I downgrade from Ryzen 5600G as the specs only give an upgrade path. the question is what does B550 chipset support??

 

Here is information on upgrade path (But no downgrade path).

why want to use a processor other than the one in place?

Even if there is a possibility, no one will be able to confirm you here, if it is possible to install a processor, which is not indicated / validated by HP
Users, on the contrary, try to use a newer processor, not older, so you may have even less response.
NB, the reference indicated
