HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Base Model Small Form Factor PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to upgrade my Elite Desk for some gaming purposes, and Last month I bought a Low Profile RX 6400 GPU, that some people answered me on this forum that would work, but in the product specifications, it said that the recommended power supply is one with 350w, and mine which is the original from the pc, is only 240. The GPU worked but, I'm planning  to buy more things to upgrade it, and I don't think that this PSU would support more things, like RAM or fans.

So I searched a bit about power supplies that would fit in this desktop, and I discovered that if I bought a normal ATX Power Supply, it would need an 24 to 6-pin adapter cable. And the ones I found would have to get a bigger case too, because of it being a low profile one. Can someone indicate what PSU and Case should I buy?

My actual specifications are:

CPU: i7 4970
GPU:RX 6400 Low Profile

RAM:2x 4 GB 1600-MHz DDR3
PSU:240w  Standard

hi

It all depends on what exactly you want to do..
But if you want to change everything, then it's up to you
see the KB of @old_geekster

Moving HP Motherboard to a new gaming case

if you replace the case , you will have to change the motherboard, since yours may not fit
And if it is to have a more efficient computer, the latter remains limited in upgrade
No interest for you, even if it would be possible to buy another Hp tower!
