Z800 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I saw the Samsung DDR3-1333 32GB/4Gx72 ECC/REG CL9 Server Memory M393B4G70DM0-YH9 1.35V ram memory on Amazon. I wonder if this will work with my HP Z800 workstation. I am running two X5690 processors. I also like to know what the maximum memory I can upgrade this workstation to.

Thank you.

I saw this YouTube video of this guy who upgrade his Z800 to 384GB of RAM memory; thus, I was curious if I can upgrade my Z800 to (not that much) at least around 84GB to 128GB.

Thanks for the response, much appreciated!

I found this page, https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/52576/intel-xeon-processor-x5690-12m-cache-3-46..., and it says the max is 288GB for x5690 CPU. I assumed this means regarding if I have one or running two x5690, it'll still be 288GB, correct? Based on the YouTube video, it seems he upgraded the BIOS to get 384GB. I wonder if that's the difference between the 288GB and 384GB.
