HP ProDesk 600 G2 Small Form Factor PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I bought a used HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF desktop so that I can learn basic troubleshooting skills. I am trying to find the manual or specifications for this desktop's motherboard, which is HP 805D KBC Version 05.22.  I've looked on the HP website and did a Google search, and I still can't find any specs or manual for this specific motherboard. Can anybody guide me how I can get a copy of the manual or specs?

Thank you.

What kind of motherboard does your HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF have? It is the Spitfire Rev. A (HP p/n: 795971-001) motherboard, and it can be fitted with up to 4 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-19200, 2400 MHz, Non-ECC, UDIMM, 288-pin (downgraded to 2133 MHz), it has the LGA 1151 processor socket, and I would recommend it to be fitted with at least the i5-6500 or i5-6600, or better still: the i5-6600K, i7-6700, and even the i7-6700K.

Mind you, the "K" processor versions produce more heat, so CPU cooling fan upgrades are recommended if you were to fit one of these.

Here you can see what other HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF Users have installed in their rigs: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-ProDesk-600-G2-SFF/26614.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
