Hi @ljb984,
Welcome to HP Support Community!
We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so, here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊
Thank you for your inquiry about upgrading your HP All-in-One PC with AMD Ryzen 7 5700U.
We understand you want to improve your PC’s speed and memory for better performance with Adobe software. However, All-in-One PCs have certain design limitations that affect upgrade options:
- The processor (CPU) and graphics are typically integrated and soldered directly onto the motherboard, so they cannot be upgraded separately.
- Many All-in-One models have limited or no access to internal components, making it difficult or impossible to add or upgrade RAM or storage beyond the original configuration.
- Some models may allow upgrading the storage drive (like swapping an HDD for an SSD), but this varies by model and often requires professional service.
Because of these constraints, upgrades are often very limited compared to traditional desktop PCs.
