- What are these fan connections on my Z210 motherboard?

I've moved my motherboard out of my Z210 and into a larger case, but realize now the fan connectors on the motherboard are nonstandard - they are keyed differently and standard fan connectors won't attach. Can I just file down my fan plugs (removing the keys) and have them work? Or are the pinouts different?

@CSC,
There 3 types of plugs used:
2 wire - + and - (ground). Full speed
3 wire - + and - (ground) with Tach
4 wire - + and - (ground) with Tach and the 4th pin is PWM controller

The link you had to the wiring diagrams - specifically the drawing of the "4 pin fan connections" - does look like it matches the jack on my motherboard. And if you look at the bumps (I think they are called "polarizing tabs") they are located to the outside of pins 1 and 4, so the distance between the bumps is going to be about 0.4"
The fan currently in this case has a 3-pin connector with bumps on the outside of pins 1 and 3, so the distance between the bumps will be about 0.3".
I also have a 10-port fan hub with a cable that is supposed to plug into my motherboard; it has a 4-pin plug but one bump is on the outside of pin 1 and the other bump is between pins 3 and 4 so it's also got a 0.3" spacing between bumps.
So I have two plugs that definitely do not want to plug into my motherboard; my concern is that somebody has designed it that way to prevent me from plugging these fans into my motherboard for some reason. Is the difference in bump spacing important or not?

@CSC,
Only 4 pin PWM fans will properly work with your motherboard.
You can plug in 3 wire fans, as shown here. Fan runs at full speed.
PS<> saying you have a 10 port fan hub is like saying you own a Ford. What hub brand?
