What cpu and gpu can I use on a HP omen 40l motherboard 8A97 11

What are the cpu and gpu upgrades can I do on my HP OMEN 40L it has a a HP motherboard 8A97 baseboard version 11. I have a i5 13400 cpu and a gtx 3060 asus gpu.

According to these OMEN by HP 40L Gaming Desktop GT21-2xxx User benchmarks, your HP OMEN 40L GT21-2xxx as fitted with the ArcticU motherboard (SSID: 8A97) can be fitted with 14th gen processors, including the "K" processors such as the i7-14700K and the i9-14900KF.

This strongly suggests that HP has released BIOS versions enabling 14th-gen support, at least for some configurations.

Interestingly, HP's specs only mention 13th gen processors for the ArcticU motherboard.

You can upgrade your OMEN 40L with any graphics card money can buy, as long as you watch its dimensions (LxWxH) for fit inside your case, and making sure your power supply is sufficient to power it.

For example, an RTX 4090 requires at least an 850-watt power supply.
