Product: K3500 keyboard
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
What do the F keys do on the K3500 keyboard when I'm NOT in any particular program, just in Windows in general? I can't find any info anywhere on what the various icons mean.

From the following image
I can see it is a standard keyboard. Below are some common uses for function keys in Windows:
- F1 - Display help screen
- F2 - Highlight file or folder for renaming
- F3 - Open search tool
- Alt+F4 - Close the current window
- F5 - Refresh the contents of a window or webpage
- F8 - Boot Windows into Safe Mode by holding F8 during startup
Regards.
