Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0023w

My AVG Antivirus tells me that it has blocked this HpPortlox64.sys driver due to it being unstable every time I start my pc and I am wondering why and What I should do about it, and what this driver does. Is this important.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

HP should have fixed this 2021 security flaw in later versions of Omen Gaming Hub.

 

You could probably exclude the file in AVG but I am not familiar with AVG so you would have to look for this option.

 

AVG may be erroneously flagging this file even though the problem may be resolved.

 

Verify you are running the latest version of this Omen software. You should be up to date if you use HP Support Assistant.
