I am trying to play Cyberpunk and my computer is slow and sputtering. It runs things like GTA V fine at medium settings. But, I am starting to realize that my system is due for another upgrade. I am also contemplating if I should upgrade my processor as well.
System Model: HP Envy 800-030qe
Current Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 2GB
Processor: Intel i7-4770 3.4 Ghz (8 CPUs)
Memory: 16 GB (I upgraded this myself)
Motherboard: MS-726 (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-phoenix-800-000-desktop-pc-series/5358985/model/5362546...)
Power Supply: 600W
Let's say I have $300 to spend.

hi
check the recommended power supply for the chosen card
If need for additional pci connector are they present on the power supply.
also check the dimensions, it should not be too big

it would indeed be a good solution
as the computer is no longer brand new, replace the graphics card, it may not do the trick for a while
And the graphics cards are replaced by the latest generation, it may indeed be difficult to find certain models!
Christmas soon
