Hello,

What monitors does HP USB-C G5 Essential support?

I have a BenQ 144 hz 1920x1080 monitor which works perfect and then I have a MSI 2560*1440@165Hz monitor which doesn't work as it should.

My laptop is a MSI laptop and when I connect the MSI monitor to the laptop directly it works fine, but through the docking station it doesn't, whether it's alone or with the other monitor.

It runs at 60 hz at 1920x1200 so the screen looks weird and I don't get the opportunity to choose either 2560x1440@165 hz - Here it will be max 30 hz?

I also checked in the nvidia controlpanel - It gets forced to go 4k at 30 or 60 hz.

I checked in with MSI aswell, and they told me to ask you, what your docking station support, cause they don't think that it supports 2560*1440@165Hz.

And if not, what is the maximum it does support?

Thanks.

1. Thats what im doing here as it is a HP docking station.

2. All up to date.

3. It cant be done when it is connected through the docking station - when it is connected directly to the laptop, it is no problem.

4. I already did and it works when its directly to the laptop.

5. I am here 🙂
