OMEN 25L Desktop - GT12-0050na

I've got this omen 25L desktop with the motherboard described as "8704 00" in the system information. I was curious as to what is the largest SSD I can safely fit on the motherboard and successfully configure with the system. My PC has already got a 256 GB SSD and a 2 TB HDD.

Also, what other motherboard is compatible with this desktop shell? Preferably one with more M2 slots so I can accommodate more SSDs in the future.

The specs of your machine is

              https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06695755

Now it has

  • 256 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Solid State
  • 2 TB

You do NOT need to buy new motherboard, you can simply upgrade 256GB to 512GB or 1TB or 2TB using  SSD card PCIe x4 Gen 3 such as   https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/980-pro-pcle-4-0-nvme-m-2-ssd-1tb-mz-v8p1t0bw/
