Z620
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just spoke with HP support via chat, and they said the largest sata drive I can install in my Z620 is 3tb????

I don't think they know what they are talking about.

I'm pretty sure it can handle more, but I'm not able to find anything solid to go by.

I'm planning on getting (2) 6tb drives which will hold my data.

My primary drive is a 180GB SSD.

Does anyone know what the largest drives I can install?

Thanks,

dinky

FYI,

I have a 4TB drive in my HP Z620. Must be formatted as GPT due to the size of the drive. After I inserted the drive, windows prompts to format as GPT. Basically, you should be able to install any size of HDD in a HP Z620 (64bit OS).
