I have an hp all-in-one(model:300-1000 toutchmart) .Should i buy 2.5 or 3.5 ssd?Do i need to buy an external disk too to store my images?

Hi:

 

For an internal SSD there is no such thing as a 3.5" SSD, they are all 2.5", so you need to also purchase a 3.5" to 2.5" hard drive caddy so you can properly mount the 2.5" SSD where the 3.5" drive is currently mounted.

 

If you are running low on disk space, it is always a good idea to purchase a portable USB hard drive to store pictures on since they take up quite a bit of internal disk space.

 

Since the model series has been retired by HP as it has surpassed the 10-year support limit, I cannot find any manuals to help you open up the PC to replace the hard drive, but here is a video...

The make many different types of thes adapters, so you would have to open up your PC and look at which one would work the best.

 

Now if you can get this model in Greece, I think it would be the best because it is shaped exactly like your PC's existing 3.5" drive and the cables connect to the caddy just like they do now, and the 2.5" SSD connects to a built in SATA connector the caddy has.

I have purchased two of these in the past and they worked great.
