Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So, basically, I'm trying to upgrade my computer processor, which is currently a core i3-2nd Gen 3.10 Ghz. Could you please list the processors that are better than the one I currently have? My motherboard is a Quanata (2abb), and here are the rest of my system specs in case you need to check for compatibility. Please ensure that the new processors you list are not expensive. Also, please list at least four or five processors for upgrade.

@Rayyan2650,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

And adding to @TheOldMan's feedback, you want to go for the i7-2600 -no question about it.  You can get these very inexpensively via eBay starting at around $25 here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=i7-2600&_sacat=0&LH_ItemCondition=3000&LH_BIN=1&_sop=....

Make sure you buy from a reputable Seller -meaning, having a high positive feedback rating or look for eBay's "Top Rated Plus" designation.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
