Using Pavilion 23-q110 and have tried PC Matic. Results are saying I'm REALLY slow and need upgrades..., so I'm wondering what I can do to upgrade?

@qbk , welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to upgrade the processor. It is an integral part of the motherboard. You can upgrade the memory to 16 GB. Here is the Product Specifications page for the computer. Look at the section titled "Memory upgrade information". Here is the memory that is recommended by Crucial Memory. You may have to remove the existing 4 GB of memory if the Crucial memory is not compatible. I suggest that you contact Crucial's Tech Support for help with your selection. They have always been very helpful. Also, you can ask them if they have a SSD that would be compatible with your computer. A SSD would give you a considerable increase in system performance. Here is the Upgrading and Servicing Guide for the computer. It will help you with the upgrades.
You can use CPU-Z to determine the brand and timings of the current memory. This information can be found in the tab titled "SPD".
