What would be the most powerful CPU ( and GPU ) that the 442028-001 XW8400 Workstation Motherboard .

Forgot I had a XW8400 workstation and was wondering, what is the most powerful CPU ( and GPU ) that it can handle ?

As the socket is LGA771, it should be able to handle any CPU for the socket ( as long as it has enough power from the PSU ) or am I missing something ?

• Intel Xeon 5160 3.00 GHz/1333

There are also some gpus listed. Don't know if it is worth changing it.

Thanks, but I was wondering about others, such as the QuadCores, the E/L54XXs for example.
