Thank you for the response.  It is helpful, but the part I am looking for is not noted.

The part I am looking for is on the bottom front of the display panel frame nearly in the center.  It is a small metallic mesh rectangle which has a metal ribbon that goes down to one of the holes for the mounting screws.  The part is behind the HP logo on the front of the speaker mesh.  I'm not sure of its function but my guess it has something to do with grounding because the mounting screw attaches to the metal underneath it.

I would like to send a pic that has the area/part circled (although you really can't see the part very well in the pic).
