Hello. The headphone jack on my computer has been broken for a while. I'd like to know where I can find replacements. Preferably the same ones that HP used when building the computer because it has to fit nicely in the plastic. So where did HP get their 3.5mm jacks?

@Babylone, welcome to the forum.

I don't believe that HP will have the part because of the age of the computer.  Your best option will be to go to a local computer repair shop, BestBuy, etc., to see if they have one that will work.  These shops repair many different brands and have generic parts that will work in most computers.  It isn't necessary to use an OEM part.

Age? It's not even 10 years old... I am okay with soldering a new connector on my own. It is surprisingly difficult to find one that would work because HP used connectors that have a plastic base wider than the rest of the connector, this allows them to fit into the grooves of the plastic part on the front of the PC. I wonder if they built their own, would explain why I can't find anyone selling a similar connector. But thanks for the suggestion, guess I could ask the computer repair shops that are around for the part.

Thank you for the additional information, @Babylone.

I didn't mean to insult you, but HP doesn't have parts for computers over 5 years old.  HP does have their motherboards made to their specs.  Therefore, you may have to use a generic part that works.
