HP Z1 G9 Tower Desktop (7F0E1AV)

Hello, I would like to add a TP-Link Archer TX55E to my HP Z1 G9 Tower Desktop PC (5F161EA). But I can't find the f_usb port on the motherboard. USB connection is necessary for bluetooth to work. Thank you for your help.

It is unfortunate that HP has not made it simple to find a block diagram or factory image of your workstation's motherboard in the documentation.

I used Google to find an image of a replacement motherboard and there  appears to be only a single USB header on it.

That would mean that you should probably seek a replacement for the network card you wanted to use unless you do not mind losing the Bluetooth capability it was delivered with.

There are other ways to add Bluetooth capability to a desktop.

The simplest solution is to procure and use a USB Bluetooth dongle.

f_USB is the front USB port connection on the motherboard.

Here is the manual for the Workstation. See chapter 1. I suggest using USB header connections  that are currently unused and available, perhaps one of the two internal USB headers.(see the diagram ch.1 pg 6 in the manual's hardware overview section.

Here is the quick setup manual for the Archer TX-55E. Setup looks pretty straightforward to me. Connect the Bluetooth connector to an available USB header on the workstation's motherboard.

The attached link leads to the HP Z1 All-In-One type (monitor and computer in one). My question was about the HP Z1 Tower Desktop.

Everything is nicely explained in the attached link, but it does not apply to my product.
