@RCCincinnati

You do not state your reasoning ?  There are several component boards that    "create"    this completed system. You should rely upon a repair shop to validate which "separate component board" is defective.

Thanks for the response.

I believe I need a new motherboard because the Bios in my all in one computer freezes on the Startup menu and I have done the following:

i upgraded the BIOS version to V80.11 03/07/2018 in my All in One computer  Envy-23-o0014.  Once the BIOS was upgraded I was asked to reboot the computer.  I rebboted the computer and it froze with the HP logo on the screen. (Picture 1). I hold the start button for 5 seconds to turn off the computer. Then. I turned on the computer and repeatably press the ESC key to go to the BIOS screen. (picture 2).  On this screen, I can see  the hedline "Startup Menu" but I can't selected because this screen is frozen.  I have done the following checks, but unfurtunatly the computer doesn't repond.

1) Replaced wireless keyboard to wire keboard

2) Memmory cards are in good condition.  (I checked them in a similar computer)

3) SSD hardrive is in good condition. (I checked it a similar computer)

4) Reset  CMOS using jumper on the motherboard

5) Remove battery

** I am not able to open the BIOS screen (BLUE Screen)

@RCCincinnati,

BIOS versions are tied to the OS.  The V80.11 can only be installed successfully for WIN 8.1.

Unhappily you did not find a BIOS update which was compliant with WIN 10 installer.

You selected a version LISTED only for WIN 8.1 installer.
