Hi, i have 16GB and want to upgrade to 32GB.
i recently purchased "Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2133MHz" .. However, after installing i got red flashes after i tried to turn on the PC. So i am guessing it is not compatible with the motherboard.
Based on the spec for HPZ440, it says that DDR4 and Registered memory should be supported (upto 2133 MHz) <-- This seems to be the specs for the Corsair memory i bought above.
What am i missing here ? Any suggestions on what Corsair Memory would work with this desktop ?

It is much better to ask Corsair, HP does not use Corsair RAM on its machines. Please check existing RAM and buy the same brand / specs
Regards.

Hi banhien -
I had reached out to Corsair support and was suggested to contact the mother board manufacturer and ask for the QVL list (The list contains all compatible RAM that you can use with the mother board).
I have not been able to find the manufaturer of the mother board in the specs of HPZ440. Any suggestions ?

You were slightly off on the speed. Here are the true specs. Read page 19 and 20.
Page 19 explains what can go in which of the 8 slots, but manufacturer and speed must be the same. Compatible memory is the key issue. I could not find a link to matching Corsair modules. Cricual modules that WORK with that unit are here. (pick the same speed).
My lookup took 30 secs.

@wb2001, Perhaps i am missing something but page 19 lists the following supported memory speeds:
1600MT/s, 1866MT/s, 2133MT/s, and 2400MT/s
The corsair i purchased was 2133. You indicated that i was slightly off on the speed. Can you please clarify ?
Also, the link you provided shows me all the Crucial memory. Your statement "All the Corsair modules that WORK with that unit are here. " is a bit confusing since it does not list any Corsair modules ?

You said 2133 speed, it can also use 2400.
My error, I only found Crucial. (I edited my original reply to reflect that).
