The monitor has the number 3 port connection,as shown on the back of the pavillion tower. Does the number 3 port use the DVI-I or DVI-D  24 pin,male to male connecting cord? Banhien,provost,can you answer this?

Hi:

You would use a DVI-D cable for the port labeled as #3.
