This is the RAM I have in my laptop HP OMEN 15.
So, hp website says I need 2400mhz ram.
But the ram say 2666v.
Do, do I need 2666mhz ram then?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

The HP support page does indicate the 2400MHz Memory, which would be the minimum sped'd speed. The motherboard and CPU dictate the speed that it will actually run the memory. Faster memory costs more to buy but does not effect the way it works as long as the memory can run at the rated speed on the spec page. So faster rated memory can run at a slower rated than the spec speed but cannot usually run faster than the sped'd speed. Therefore you are good.
Keep in mind that if you wish to add more memory that it should be in matched pairs to not cause problems.

Thanks so much for your time.
So, I can buy a 2666mhz ram, because my system supports it.
Good.
Now I need to make sure that the new RAM speed should be same as the existing RAM. Right?
Now, does that speed exist in the picture I provided? Is it 2666v as written there?
If not, how can I know?
Thanks.

In my last post - "Keep in mind that if you wish to add more memory that it should be in matched pairs to not cause problems."
Matched pair means that the new RAM must match the old , meaning same brand, same catalog number, same memory size -everything must match. So that would include the speed, too.
If you cannot find a match for the existing RAM then buy two that match as new. Remove the old RAM and then install the matched pair.
