Does it matter if RAM blocks are placed in DIM1+DIM3 or DIM2+DIM4 ?

Having problems getting screen signal. The PC boots, but there is no screen signal or light in the keyboard or mouse.

What could be the problem?

hi

It will depend on the motherboard, but in general
we will start with the closest to the processor, and one out of two for the dual channel
so definitely 1 and 3 here!
now if it doesn't work, either you changed to incompatible modules..
either there is a problem with your original modules/slots/motherboard!
