Product: Deskpro 400 G4
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have just bought a new HP Prodesk 400 G4 and confused by the hardware manual and PC!

The manual says the two front USB and the two  below the RJ45 rear are USB2, with the group of 4 on the rear as USB3 but the USB smybols suggest the front two are USB3.0, with the two below the RJ45 as USB2.0 (but with with a keyboard symbol as well) and 2 of the group of 4 as USB3.0 , the other 2 being USB3.0.

 

Which is right and how do I test?

Hopefully USB 3.0 are with a Blue Inner piece.

You would think so. Not just blue, a specific pantone colour. Unfortunately HP chose to ignore this and they are all black!

Yes - but hat involves switching off and unplugging to get at the back. At my age, I then need a magnifting glass and a good memory for which is which. The hardware manual should be correct so I should just be able to look it up!

Hi,

 

The below information is what HP indicates for the ProDesk 400 G4 MT.  If you are not sure which USB port has a device plugged into it then try SIV version 5.29.
