Any M.2 NVMe SSD would fit, such as these Amazon purchase examples which happens to be on sale at the moment: Amazon.com: Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCIe Gen4 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 5000MB/s - CT1000P3PSSD8 : Ele... Or: https://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Power-NVMe-Gen3x4-SP001TBP34A60M28/dp/B07ZGJVTZK/ref=dp-upsell-widget....
I would aim for a 1TB drive, but if you want to spend less, go for a 500GB option.
Please note that Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSDs will run at Gen3 I/O speeds on your desktop.

Welcome to our peer-to-peer HP Community Forum!
Your HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p136 PC (X6G37AA) as fitted with an HP Hamar motherboard (SSID: 81B4), does not have an M.2 NVMe SSD slot. You could use your motherboard's PCIe x16 slot to install an M.2 NVMe SSD to PCIe slot adapter, such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-NVMe-PCIe-Aluminum-EC-PCIE/dp/B084GDY2PW/ref=sr_1_3?crid=24ML590IMITX....
Any M.2 NVMe Gen3 x4 SSD would work, and you could make that your primary (boot) drive, as seen in some HP 510-p136 User builds: https://www.userbenchmark.com/System/HP-510-p136/47982.
Hope this was helpful.
