I have

 

one Micron MTA8ATF1G64AZ-2G3B1 DDR4-2400 (1200 MHz) 8 Gb. UDIMM memory module in slot #4

 

of the

 

Higos PROM2 Summit Ridge motherboard

 

in a HP Omen 880-039

 

with

 

Ryzen 1800x CPU

 

I want to add one more memory module and would like to know in which slot the new module must be placed.

Hi,

 

Stick with the same color sockets.  In your case 2 and 4.

 

When you are done, download CPU-Z and then verify the memory channel operation.

 

One of the service videos that I reviewed for AMD processors, indicated that two dimms were installed in the red slots.
