This is the CPU cooler/heatsink - https://www.ebay.com/itm/393248503963, it's for an i7-6700 that's on a HP Envy Phoenix 860-014. What would you guys suggest? Is there a specific kind needed?

Hi,
Are you asking if the CPU cooler in your link works with your MB and case? I am not familiar with this cooler.
I see no dimension specifications at the site. This part has to fit in your case and work with your motherboard.
You can use any CPU TIM available on the internet. They all work within a few degrees of each other.
I use Noctua NT-H2, Arctic MX-4, Thermal Grizzly non-conductive paste, and others. Avoid Electrically conductive paste. You can damage the MB.
Regards
