I bought an HP ENVY desktop in 2016....computer has been fine all these years, but why are there no updates? Why is there no BIOS or firmware updates? When I search for drivers it says nothing available for my system.

The HP update looks through the available OS driver list.  it is likely that there are no windows 11 updates for your 2016 system.  You will have to do your own searching.   A bios update for windows 10 will work on 11 but you may not be notified that it is available if the update tool only looks for windows 11 drivers

 

Please provide the Product ID or Model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol.
